Ukiah Daily Journal - Jan 12 8:44 AM
And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The party's o-ver... It is time to replace our 2006 calendar with a new one. As we transpose birthdays and anniversaries of friends and relatives, one can't help but linger on the notes scribbled down.

“Here, smell this!” Mark Bellinghaus urges in his moderate German accent, handing me a pair of black-and-white checkered pants once worn by Marilyn Monroe. I hold the fabric to my face as though it were the Shroud of Turin.

Corny Medieval Costume

Please do Meideval Costume not make personal attacks on other people as you did at Corny Medieval Costume. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create such pages will be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Thank you. Dina 19:19, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, it certainly looks like an article created to disparage it's subject. Either way, it's not really a subject for an encyclopedia article. I can change the tag to reflect that however. Cheers. Dina 19:24, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
I have changed the tag. Please consider removing your "hang on" tag. Alternatively, if you'd like to keep the page, I can move it to your userpage, but it will replace the current (extremely slow-loading, BTW) photo. Cheers. Dina 19:26, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Moved it here:User:BricksFromEurope/Corny Medieval Costume. Please try to avoid putting jokes and nonsense into the encyclopedia in the future. Thanks. Dina 19:39, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Talk Page "Clean-ups"

Please stop vandalizing my talk page by deleting all my relevant messages. Thanks. IrisWings 19:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I was not being "mean"; however, I didn't ask for your help, and was additionally troubled at having to revert your edit for the second time. Please respect my wishes in the future. IrisWings 20:01, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Regarding edits made during November 29, 2006 (UTC) to User talk:Chrislk02

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 19:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your concern

Thank you for your kind concern with my meanness. I apolagize if it seemed that way but your actions are not generally accepted in the Wikipedia community. If you need help understanding why, or understanding what actions are acceptable, I would be more than glad to point you in the right direction! - Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 19:58, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Editing a person's image in order to add a bubble which reads "I am a gay loser" is never appropriate. The image has been tagged for speedy deletion. -- AuburnPilottalk 20:03, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Stop reverting my edits. This is your last warning. --BricksFromEurope 20:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
I encourage you to become a productive member of Wikipedia, but blanking user talk pages, creating inappropriate articles, uploading attack images, and adding comments like "This policy sucks" to the image copyright page are not helpful. I assure you, your actions will lead to a block far sooner than mine. Please reconsider your actions and try to help us build an encyclopedia. Thanks, -- AuburnPilottalk 20:19, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Instead of simply stating "This sucks", explain what you don't like about the policy and how you think it could be better implemented. Suggest changes. You'd be surprised by the positive response you'd get if you approach the situation in this way. -- AuburnPilottalk 20:28, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Image:Prince_charles listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Prince_charles has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. -- AuburnPilottalk 20:13, 29 November 2006 (UTC) 20:13, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Hey, stop it

I'm afraid you're going to have to be more specific. I've no idea what it is you want me to stop. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, someone logged onto your account certainly did. At least according to both my talk page history and your contribution log. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:24, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Then I suggest you stop letting him onto your account. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:28, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Image vandalism

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test of inserting inappropriate images into an article worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. -- AuburnPilottalk 20:35, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Why did u chnage my image of Andy Rooney? --BricksFromEurope 20:36, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm really having a hard time assuming good faith with your edits. Clearly, that addition was not meant to better the article. This is a serious project and adding images like this (Image:Andyrooneycool) to Andy Rooney cannot be serious. Please stop. -- AuburnPilottalk 20:38, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Two people have now disagreed with you about the quality of the image. If you wish to discuss replacement, I'd advise seeking consensus on the talk page of Andy Rooney. [User:GeeJo|GeeJo]] (t)(c) • 20:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. GeeJo (t)(c) • 20:49, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you insert an image into an article with the intent to provoke, offend, or push a POV agenda, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. mirageinred 21:22, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
